Hi Ysa, I’ve never personally used fabric scraps instead of fiber fill, but I think that as long as you’re spot washing, it should be fine. If you do intend to throw it in a washing machine (probably not the best idea unless it’s really grimy), the washing machine might take its own toll as well, which makes the whole process a little iffy. I use fabric scraps instead of fiber fill to stuff my amigurumi. If I ever need to wash it, do you think it will dry completely on the inside? (This is my only worry. I like to use fabric scraps so that I can upcycle them instead of seeing them thrown away.)
